Grade discovery
S31803 and S32205 must be specified individually. UNS S32550 is a separate grade and is not presented as equivalent to 2507 / S32750.

Duplex & super duplex in every common form.
Ferritic-austenitic stainless steels with roughly twice the yield strength of 316L and much better resistance to chloride stress-corrosion cracking, plus super-austenitic 254 SMO for seawater-grade pitting resistance.
Corrosion & temperature resistance
Duplex grades combine high strength with resistance to chloride pitting, crevice corrosion and stress-corrosion cracking; super duplex grades (PREN ≥ 40) are used for seawater and aggressive brines. Service is normally limited to about 250–300 °C because of embrittlement at higher temperatures.
Applications
Offshore and subsea piping, desalination, chemical tankers, pulp bleaching, heat exchangers and pressure vessels where weight saving matters.
