Grade discovery

Provide the exact designation and delivery condition. Pressure-service and low-temperature enquiries need the applicable purchase specification; no suitability is assumed.

Forms we supply

Carbon & alloy steel in every common form.

Carbon-steel pipe to ASTM A106 / A53, flanges and fittings to ASTM A105 / A234, and EN8 medium-carbon bar. For structural mild steel (IS 2062, ASTM A36) see Mild steel.

Corrosion & temperature resistance

Carbon steels have no inherent corrosion resistance; they are painted, galvanised or lined for corrosive service. A106 and A105 are rated for elevated-temperature pressure service.

Applications

Process and utility piping, pressure-system flanges and fittings, shafts and general engineering.
