Corrosion & temperature resistance
Titanium's stable oxide film gives near-immunity to seawater, chlorides and oxidising acids; Grade 7's palladium addition extends this into reducing acids and hot brines.
Applications
Titanium Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V): Aerospace, offshore, high-performance parts. Heat exchangers and condensers, chlorine and chlorate plants, desalination, marine hardware and aerospace components.
